Our story

I'm Maya. I started teaching in 2015 in a church hall with six borrowed mats, and took the room above the bakery on Cross Street in 2019.

It is one quiet room with a wooden floor, a radiator that clanks, and windows that look out over the rooftops. There are no mirrors and no music with words in it. Classes are small on purpose, so that I can teach the people in front of me rather than shout at a crowd.

If you are nervous about a first class, come to the 9.30am on a Wednesday. It is the gentlest one, and half the room will be new too.
