About Riverside Players
Amateur theatre in the heart of the village since 1974
Our story
Riverside Players began in 1974, when a group of parents from St Mark's put on a Christmas pantomime to raise money for the church hall roof. The roof was mended, and the group never stopped. We have now staged more than 150 productions, every one of them in the same hall.
We are a registered charity run entirely by volunteers. Any money we make from tickets goes straight back into the next show: hiring scripts, building sets and paying for the hall. Nobody is paid, and nobody ever has been.
Rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm. If you would like to come along, just turn up, or ring Angela on the number at the bottom of this page.
