Who I am.
I'm a developer with a background in web development and digital analytics — I like building things that work cleanly, and I like knowing whether they actually do once people start using them. I originally trained as a chemical engineer, so I came to software from a problem-solving and quantitative background rather than a CS one — I welcome new challenges and treat unfamiliar problems as a chance to learn something I didn't know yesterday.
What I do.
Day to day I work across the front end and back end of the web — building features, maintaining sites, and making sure the measurement story behind them is accurate. The dual focus on development and analytics means I think about how a thing is built, how it'll be observed, and what the resulting data is actually saying — usually in the same breath.
